A Warriors spin-off game for the Nintendo Switch was announced for the Fire Emblem franchise at a Nintendo Direct event earlier in the week.

The trailer, which can be watched above, says that Fire Emblem Warriors will come out in the holiday season of 2017, expanding the Nintendo Switch library even more before the end of the year.

Like Hyrule Warriors it will also be released on the New 3DS, Nintendo’s handheld platform. It won’t release on the WiiU however.

The series of games, which started with the release of Dynasty Warriors in 1997, introduced a successful spin-off game in the Legend of Zelda universe called Hyrule Warriors in 2014. It released to positive reviews and has sold over 1 million copies.
