EA are planning to release a version of FIFA 18 on the Nintendo Switch alongside the other versions of the game, GameReactor have learnt.

The website talked to EA’s chief competition officer Peter Moore at an event in Paris, France. Being asked about the Nintendo Switch, Moore had this to say:

Well, as we have said, we are custom-building a FIFA version for the Nintendo Switch. It will be FIFA 18, and it will obviously be later this year when FIFA 18 comes out. And I look forward to seeing the Nintendo Switch. We are not far away from its launch and in fact, here in Paris, I was very impressed to see FNAC stores with Nintendo Switch in the windows.

FIFA is one of EA’s flagship franchises, having started in 1993. The 2014 version of the game (FIFA 15) was the last time the game released in some form on a Nintendo console, with the Wii and 3DS both getting a version.
