The multiplayer game has you driving a car in attempt to score goals against an opponent, a similar premise to the car football episodes of Top Gear that you may have seen before. Rocket League is well liked by players and critics, and is regularly updated with new content.
Last month VP of Psyonix Jeremy Dunham told Kinda Funny Games just over 10 million copies, which means the 30 million players milestone also includes those who got the game through PlayStation+ and multiple accounts on Xbox Live.
