Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will get an update on Dec 5 to enhance the game on the more powerful Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro.
The news came from a long update on Bungie’s site at the end of last week. The upcoming update bring an adaptive 4k resolution to the game on the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro as well as HDR lighting.
Alongside the improvements to the newer versions of this generation of console fans will see the start of season two, with Bungie splitting the life span of the game into seasons which will change some of the available items and what additions will come to the game.
This change to season two comes with the first DLC for the game, titled Curse of Osiris. It will bring players to Mercury as part of the story, the first time the planet has been fully playable outside of Crucible maps.
In addition the level cap in Destiny 2 will rise to level 25, while the power levels of gears will go up to 330.
The game released on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the beginning of September, receiving an average of 85-87 on Metacritic. The PC version of the game came out on Oct 24.
