Darkest Dungeon developers Red Hook Studios has told fans they are hoping to release the game on the Nintendo Switch next month.
After a fan asked about the Switch release for the game, the studio replied back to them with a brief message that sheds some light on the situation.

While the original reply was from two days ago, there has yet to be a blog post with more details about the release.
What the team has done recently however is announced a new DLC in the works called The Color of Madness. Planned for a spring release, it will bring a new faction, a new quest type and different trinkets to the base game, and it sounds to be aiming towards a slightly more supernatural theme.
Darkest Dungeon originally release Jan 2016 after spending a year in early access. The game was partially funded through Kickstarter in 2014, raising more than $300,000 in funds.
