Metro Exodus from 4A Games was first revealed at E3 2017 during Microsoft’s press conference, and is being developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The last new game in the Metro franchise was released in May 2013.
The Game Awards will also have a video for Playerunknown Battleground, with its new desert map being shown and other news to be announced. Death Stranding is also expected to make an appearance with Guillermo Del Toro and Hideo Kojima both being announced as presenters for the event.
While many people watch for the trailers of new games and content, there are 26 awards to be given away, ranging from best esports team to best RPG. The game of the year category this year includes Horizon Zero Dawn, PUBG, Persona 5, Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
