Ubisoft has announced earlier this week that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege now has over 25 million registered users.
The news comes at the same time that the new update titled Operation White Noise releases on all platforms. The update includes a new map based on top of a tower in Seoul, South Korea alongside three new operators.
The brand director for the game Alexandre Remy is happy to see the game achieve this milestone.
“Player investment has been core to the success of the game with longevity being always very important to us. As the game progressed, we continued to develop it with the community in mind. We’re thrilled to see that the community has embraced the game, brought along their friends, and really pushed our understanding of what’s possible with what we’ve created.”
Rainbow Six Siege originally came out late 2015 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the game being a multiplayer first-person shooter that relies on team-work and tactical gameplay.
The Operation White Noise content is the eighth created by Ubisoft and the third released this year.
